...you may have to make sure the door slides easy enough for squonking but that's an easy fix if even needed.
And that depends on what day it is...one rainy weekend I was going to adjust the door on my full cocobolo (I could barely budge it) but ran out of time and forgot it at the cottage...when I came down the following weekend it was in the 90's, the cottage was like a kiln inside, I picked it up off the table and the door slid out and landed on the floor...I love how organic the woodies are
The only blue of mine you have a chance for is this one.

Well I promised him I'd not send blocks to him anymore. I think I pushed that favor to the limit over the last couple years. Im not sure but he may not want wood sent to him anymore since many now want to. His business isn't like the old days but I don't know nothing and can be easily wrong. Never guess or go by what others say....best to ask him before spending any $$.
Good luck. Just a thought but remember when he has worked on wood sent to him any hiccup can be huge since it's one of a kind. Not like if it happens to any stock wood he uses that can be scraped and replaced. Lots more pressure on our favorite mod guy so I always new the risk.

Bummer, I was pretty excited there for a minute just thinking about the possibilities. Guess I'll just keep waiting for the next sale.

This thread not active since Aug. 2014 brings back good memories and what's to come. New folks can get an idea the fun we had and what they can have soon.
almost a year later and I've been using my 2 woodvils back and forth pretty much every day since. in the house and out to work, petty much everywhere. I've dropped them many times and abused them, I've even cracked each one from really hard drops, but it's just wood, easy to repair and continue to vape just fine.
here's one of my woodies from the last run, I dropped it one day getting out of my car on an icy hill and I slipped, it's fallen many times without any damage but this time it flew out of my hand and smacked down really hard back first on the ice and cracked pretty bad. the top of this mod is pretty thick but it cracked all the way through and part way down the back, the magnet flew out and was stuck to the door which flew out too. I picked it up and stuck the magnet back in, slid the door on and kept vaping... eventually I got tired of the door being so lose because it was spreading open at the top, then I dropped it again like 15 feet off a balcony onto concrete and cracked a corner clean off. luckily I found the chipped off corner piece so I finally got around to repairing it which really isn't so hard to do. the only result is a few slight scars, barely visible and pretty much good as new till the next one. truth is it can be repaired like this over and over, there's no reason to be afraid of using them. even severely abused they are resilient
here it is after its repaired, sanded and ready to be re-oiled and waxed again
and here it is after oiling and waxing, ready for another year of service, scars are barely visible and she's no worse for the wear

Aw, Turbo, they're still beauties! I had a crack in mine too, but didn't drop it. It's palm though, and I think prone to that. I remember Rob saying he wouldn't work with that wood anymore. Did you mod it? DNA?
