YiHi SX Mini Q Class Fresh battery bug

Hello, Got my SX Mini Q Class about 2 weeks ago or so, loving it so far. But, I have noticed once in a while when I swap a depleted set of batteries for a fresh one, the mod wont detect the batteries have been put in (wont power). The batteries will be in snug, positioned correctly (-/+). The only remedy I have found is putting the depleted set back in, it will detect them, then I immediately swap again for the fresh set?

Any idea why it does this?
-I removed the old batteries when the "THANK YOU GOOD BYE" screen was still on maybe?
-some other glitch?


I updated to the latest firmware today. Hoping that was the problem.

Sounds like you might have a defective unit. I would contact your vendor if the problems persists.

THink I figured it out already... sometimes the batteries need to slap clicked in and not gently pushed... worked tonight without having to put the depleted set in.. just gotta remember to snap them and hear them click in instead of softly pushing. Problem solved 99 % sure

No that isn't normal.

Haha. I know it's not normal but the question was, was it a physical problem with the mod or the software. I talked to people on freenode, theyre convinced it was a subpar soldering job cause a bad connection.

Yeah I'd say something is wrong with the mod and not the software. I'd contact you vendor for a exchange.

Just for closure, I sent it back and got store credit. It was a quality control issue from the manu. Cheers all.
