Your Daily Chuckle: How Do You Pronounce "CASAA"?

I recently watched an online video news report on ecigs, and if hazy memory serves, it was our own Vocalek who provided a comment, though it may have been our own Kristin (herewith my apologies in advance to both for my confusion!). Anyway.... The interviewer introduced the speaker as being from CASAA, which he pronounced "cuh-ZAH" (rhymes with huzzah).

Do you say cuh-ZAH? Or cah-ZAA (the a as in pass)? Or CAH-SAH (mi casa es su casa)? Or what?

Me, I just say SEE-A-ESS-A-A.

I'm curious. Does CASAA have an official pronunciation?

I say it Ka-saw, I guess the Arkansas is wearing off on me (after 12 years living here LOL.)

Rickajho's suggestion is a good one -- "casaba" without the '-ba' -- but how about holding the final '-a' since there's two A's after the 's' in the acronym? Or even making that last 'a' like the 'a' in "rad" as in "that's really rad!"

CASAA is pronounced "kuh-ssah" but "kiss-ah" or "k-ssah" are also used. It's a soft "s" and the double "AA" is pronounced "ah" as in when you are at the doctor and he says "Say ah."

Come to the member meetings and you'll hear us say it!

Ka'- sah.... Maybe Kah'-sah. Where "Ka" is like the letter "k" , or "Kah" is like car without the "r" (or "car" with a Boston accent), and "sah" is like.... (don't hold this against me) the first syllable of "sodomy". I feel dirty just writing that..... I'm gonna go crawl into the fetal position in the corner and have flashbacks of sleep-overs at my uncles house.......

Kristin's right, at the webinar, all the panelists say it again and again and that's how they say it. Accent the second syllable and hold it a little longer. It's discussed in the news report on the webinar on the ECF main page.
