Infinity and the Buzz Pro are absolutely solid for me. Lots of drops onto hard surfaces (one day I'll remember to take it out of a pocket before moving concrete blocks), all day run time, the 3 ohm Boge and v4l coolcarts work nicely on them somewhere around 5V; I LIKE running up in the 7 - 9 watt zone on single coil cartos, and it is nice to be able to dial up or down without swapping things I'm confident in the morning that the one PV, with one set of batteries, will still be working at the end of the day.

Both 808 and Riva equipment would fail, periodically, and the Rivas, while an excellent price point, were a PITA to adjust the center contact after a while; the uncertainty of when things would fail meant I had to carry spare batteries, PTs, etc.

I keep one 808 and a charger, but it's explicitly for hands-free or "throwaway" times.
(have a spare 808 xl, standard size 808 PCC, and a vapornine 808 nebula kit for PIFing)

I break stuff. It's what I do..... I have broken a glv, a saber, an infinity, and countless numbers of tanks.

My happy vaping is my Silver Bullet...even I haven't been able to break it, and dual coils and my lava tank. With memory issues, I need fiddle free uncomplicated vaping or I will go back to analogs. I just can't remember what goes on what mod....

charmed,

I sent you a PM about the possibility of repairing your non-working devices & accessories.

HAPPY VAPING: direct dripping to a 510 atomiser.

FAIL VAPING: anything involving a cartomiser or a tank mod.

can anyone join in?

my happy vaping is the joye 510 and riva 510. I've been using them since i started in Feb. I mostly use the joye, I drip with the riva when I'm on the computer. the short battery life of the joye 510s doesn't bother me because I carry 3 around with me all day (chain vapor) so I only have to charge them once a day (I rotate 6, so 3 charging while I use the other 3) I use SR attys and carts. yes, I admit I still use carts lol. at some point someone gave me a few (black) smart carts - I liked them, so I got a few more and also bought a clear smart cart to try. I used them on a trip to visit family and loved them, I only had to fill them once a day instead of topping off all day long like the regular carts. but I really fell for the clear ones because they were much easier to fill (no syringe needed) and the blacks ones would break. so that is what I use now, joye 510, sr atty and clear smart cart (like this: BreezEsmokes - Premium Electronic Cigarettes ) they don't seem to be very popular, but they work great for me! I never moved to mods because I need to keep it simple and since I am happy with my little 510s, if it ain't broke don't fix it <g>

fail vaping: cartos... could never get the hang of those

liquids: every day: unflavored, halo menthol ice and joogler chill. I drip other liquids like fruity ones, etc

The only blue county in Texas!
I have not found my bliss but I don't think it has to do with the device so much as the fact that attys hate me and cartos only somewhat like me. I have had the best luck with my bottom feds and dual cartos but I really want to be able to use attys on the bottom feds. Seems silly to use cartos. I don't know why. I'm very curious about the tanks but I do not have the money to spend on new stuff. Any new stuff I get requires me to sell one of the mods I currently have. I'm still trying to decide which ones stay and which ones go!

So to sum up - I love the convenience of the bottom fed mods but wish they were much, much smaller. And I need to figure out a vape that consistently works for me.

It's very interesing how different we all are, isn't it? Smoking was so simple and everyone pretty much did it exactly the same way...different brands or menthol/non-menthol were the major differences.

Cags, I envy you a bit. Nice and simple...and not a ton of cash to accomplish your happy vaping. Well done lady!

I found my vaping bliss using my Buzz Pro and my 3ml Liquinator tank. :vapor: Someday I'll get around to trying some other cartos in my tank but right now the BOGE 3 ohms are working great. I normally have my Buzz set at abt 4.5 VT but depending upon the juice I'm using. The wheel makes it so easy to change volts to a little higher or a little lower to give whatever juice I'm vaping taste great. If I want some variety from the juice in my tank I just take that tank off and throw on a 3 ohm atty and DT and drip to my hearts content. :)

Very happy to have my Hogmod for when I need to grab and run out of the house, often not knowing how long I'm going to be gone. The 18650 batts last a full day if not more and with the 6ml bottle I've got plenty of juice to last me all day. There is nothing else I need to take with me but my Hogmod. Most often I use a LR Joye Atty on my Hog but a Joye cartos works very well too.

Variety is what keeps vaping interesting to me so while they may not be at the top of my vaping bliss list there are times that I still really enjoy using all my PVs. My Roughstack with a dual or Joye carto is great for taking outside with me when I need to do gardening or yardwork. If I want a more traditional looking PV my original Joye 510's and Egos are all still working even though they are all over 11 months old and are great with dual cartos on them. No matter what I do they are not going to live forever so for now it doesn't matter to me if the duals kills them or not. The VYPR is almost the same size as my Ego but allows me to do either3.7 or 5VT vaping depending on the batts I use. My Turbo is a great midsize PV for 3.7 or 5 VT vaping and the vape is great on my vv Infinity even if a bit too long for my preference.

I've really not had any vaping fails this past year just a few things that I found weren't my preference. I have found that I wasn't a fan of the Storm tank with the ce2 carto but I'm very grateful to another PIF member for letting me try one. The same thing goes for trying out an EgoT atty and tank. Until my Liqunator Tank I wasn't a fan of BOGE cartos but they rock in the tank.

Its been a great vaping year :thumb:

Happy Vaping: ProVari with a 2.5ohm Dual Coil set between 5v and 5.5v and also the same setup inside the MAP DCT Tank. Tank is so convenient to just grab and go and not have to worry about refilling anytime soon. Once i get my Buzz Pro tomorrow that will probably be added as one of my Happy Vaping setups. I am also waiting on a Hybrid 1.5ohm atty to try at 3.7 on my Vmod and going to try 6v with the 2.2ohm silo cartos. 2.0ohm Boge cartos around 4.5v-5v on the provari vape like a dream as well.

Fail Vaping: eGo with a 2.0ohm Boge carto. This did not produce a satisfying vape to me. 3.3v on a 2.0ohm carto was just not cutting it. It didn't produce anywhere near enough vapor for me. Flavor was very muted and so was the TH. I have also had bad luck with 1.5ohm dual coils on ANYTHING (even the ProVari).

The more I read, the more I am wanting a mod. Started with a little Joye 510, sr atty and carts, then eGo's with sr atties, & cartos (yuck). It wasn't until I went fulltime LR's and dripping that I found a true flavor... and I vape strong menthol. The cartos are like suckin' Popsicles through a t-shirt and new atties are like clean sheets......... I would change everyday (if I were Oprah).

Happy: Fully charged eGo with brand new LR atty and NH Super Menthol
Fail: GoGo and any fluff-filled cartomizer

After allll the gear I've tried, my personal happy vaping has been:

5v Genesis with Liquinator tank. I love how light this mod is and how comfortable it is to hold. The tank eliminates the hassle of topping off constantly. This mod takes two parallel 900mAh 14500's, eliminating stacking batteries, making it pretty safe and providing great battery life. The top switch makes this mod pretty safe to pocket as well.

3.7v bottom feeder with low resistance atomizers/cartomizers. Specifically Vapage 1.8 or 2ohm hybrid bottom feeder attys or Joye 1.5ohm attys. Have recently discovered the 1.7ohm single coil Smoketech cartos and am very happy with them on my Hog as well. 18650 battery with insanely high mAh and 6ml juice capacity in a fairly compact size? Yes please. :)

I'm not mad at an eGo with a 1.7ohm Smoketech carto on it either and sometimes I will take that combination out with me to run errands vs taking the bigger mods. But at home, you'll find me with my Hog or my Genesis. :)

I also really enjoyed the Silver Bullet with a tank and my Provari, both of which were a bit heavy though. GLV's rocked, but the batt life wasn't as good on the 5v compared to the Genesis and I get longer life from an eGo vs the GLV mini or Super Mini, but all great PV's, I just hate stacking and switching batteries. :)

I bought that Genesis from my dear friend Sensay. :) At the time, I'd only seen a picture of ONE on someone's facebook album. I thought "Hmm, that's interesting." but it was a different color and it wasn't THAT appealing to me. When I saw this one in person, I was thrilled with how beautiful it is. Oh yeah, and it vapes great too. ;) I wish they were still in business, I'd get another.

I so hear you on the tilt to feed system. I was not a fan either.

Where'd ya get the 5v genesis?

My bliss is Buzzpro with carto tank vapin markfm's vanillatob recipe, swear I've doubled my intake since mixin it up!

Fail is any bottom feeder that you have to tilt, what a flippin waste. 3.7 v is fail too.
