4/19/14 brand. This was done in 30 minutes with a cautery pen as used in the medical fields. It is a re-do of a brand I got over 15 yeears ago and it had faded badly. There was a branding demo, and I volunteered to be the demo dummy and let the artist use me to show others how to do it. The original brand was a bit bigger, and took 46 strikes with a 1 1/2" piece of sheet metal heated to red hot with a butane torch. The Cautery Pen was less painful, I hope it doesn't mean the scar will go away faster!
