I think my switch may be dysfunctional as well. I've caught the atomizer getting really hot several times and have taken it off as quickly as I could. Once, I actually caught it by hearing the atomizer sizzling (after just putting it down) when it wasn't in use which was also hot when I removed...

"Flavorless" is about as close to "water" flavor as I've tried, but to me it actually does have a slight hint of flavor. It's not bad.
