Over clean your Prodigy? You might be sorry...

I put a dab of vegetable oil on my threads a month ago and haven't had a problem since. Brian

    Prodigy and attys???

Ahh the cart myth again. Been using carts since the first batch of Prodigys were shipped without issues but I don't use those high bridge attys. Brian

    Prodigy and attys???

My first BE112 lasted three months. I'm on the second and it has been over a month and still going strong. Not all attys are created equal. Brian

    Need a PsychoVapoAnalyst -Urgent

I agree. 24mg is just about right for a 2 pack a day smoker. I tried 36mg and became more addicted than ever. My next order wll be 18mg as the Prodigy is a more efficent nicotine delivery device. Sounds like she wore the button out trying to get enough nicotine. Brian

    prodigy lack of vapor

Yup. Some have used metal polish like Brasso to clean it but an occasional scrubbing with a pencil eraser works fine. Brian

    prodigy lack of vapor

Poor ground. The threads on the adapter and end cap build up corrosion over time. Clean them and lubricate with a little vegetable oil. Also the threaded connector on the adaptor builds up corrosion. Clean it with an eraser occasionally. Brian

    Help - Prodigy stopped working!

Have you tried cleaning and lubricating the threads on the adapter and end cap. Mine shut down a month ago and I was all set to contact Casy. Since I had a spare Prodigy I decided to see if it was the switch by changing them out. Still didn't work, so I started changing all the other parts...

    Prodigy Issues: Need Help!

Put a drop of vegetable oil on your finger and rub it on the threads on both ends of the prodigy. It is likely just a grounding issue and the oil will solve it. Brian

Lost the bottom cap to my Prodigy V1

Cash, did you ever get that BE112 running? Brian

    Prodigy bottom spring contact

The threads seem to develop a bit of tarnish over time and conduct less. The vegetable oil seems to prevent the tarnish and aid conduction, thus you get a more consistent vape. I have an early prodigy and was cleaning the threads at least daily to increase vapor production until I tried the...

    Prodigy bottom spring contact

Should work fine actually. A bit of vegtable oil on the threads helps give a more consistent vape also. Brian

PS Clients Have Spoken -- Low Bridge -- Stainless Steel

I tried Janty's two hole and didn't like it. My favorite atomizer was your old 4 hole but only 1 out of 3 worked well. The ones that did worked very well though and were worth chunking the other two. I still think it is a center post problem as I have two Prodigies. One has the center post...

PS Clients Have Spoken -- Low Bridge -- Stainless Steel

They are just like that. Seems the + contact of the atomizer sticks out more than normal. If the center + post of the Prodigy isn't flush with the threads, the threads of the atomizer won't catch at all and it won't screw on. Even if the center + post is flush, you only get about one turn...

Protege! How do you carry it?

I use this one Bianchi AccuMold Elite 7911 Covered Flashlight Holder The entire prodigy fits in it with an 801. Brian
