Are you using new juice ? - if so it may too thick and viscous to sink in - try diluting it if this is the case. Maybe there's too much filling in the carts and it's too tightly packed to allow the juice to penertrate - take the filling out and snip some of it away with a sissors.

All you need to do is to pop off the silicon plug and drip some juice onto the filler - try not to get the juice down the hole in the middle - if you do a little blow from the battery end will flush it out. They can take quite a few drops of juice - best way to do it is add a few drips then...
