"messed up"? I wouldn't call that a mess up at all.
Wait til you set a few things on fire like I have... then we can call it messing up.
PS: don't cut batteries open just because you want to see what's inside. I promise you, it won't end well
FT has become the main source for a LOT of people.
If you have the ability to plan ahead, you can save an extreme amount of money. Most of the clones are very high quality items and very reasonably priced in most cases. You do need to check around though, sometimes you can find items within the...
HA! (In my Carter Pewterschmidt voice).
We've all been there man. Consider this the easy road... you should have seen the junk we had 5-6 years ago.
I can follow suit and tell you what is best and bla bla bla, but it'll still all be subjective information. I can tell you this: don't give up...
Sorry this will be a little lengthy, but I wanted to make sure you didn't have to wander a lot to get yourself started off on the right foot. Hopefully some useful beginner information here for others to consider as well.
Welcome!
So let me cover a couple of things in basic terms for you...
That's pretty much where I'm at.
My wife put the smack down on me when she got last months c/c statement so I'm done until the card is paid off... probably March or April now that I have to fund Christmas on top of it. I have access to as many laptop battery packs as I want so 18650's will never...
By the way, Did you see the post in Deals - R91's for 83 bucks!

When I first started getting these Chinese clones, I noticed something that surprised me... and the Rocket that I got was exceptionally bad... I was finding small globs of material in places like holes and seams that had become encrusted. Those who are familiar with it know it as "swarf". It is...
Speaking of batteries and since we have a Fasttech supply issue...
Off topic a bit, but I thought the bargain hunters in the FT thread would like to know about a deal someone else posted on 30A Sony cells.
And by the way, if you haven't already, you may be interested in subscribing to this...
Well, I'm like you for the most part... I'm a plug-n-vape type. I can't rely on something that is finicky if that's the only thing standing between me and cigarettes so I stick with what works for the most part. I've found a real comfortable spot with the Aspire tanks. Man I just love them... I...
hmph... I had never seen such a thing before, thought I'd share it with you Vamo people. Kinda cool looking.

Noalox is mildly abrasive. Might be splitting hairs, but abrasive pastes aren't something I would want to apply to the moving parts of the switch. That's why I prefer lithium grease. If oxidation were a problem, I would see things differently.
What's your opinion on Box mods?
I haven't yet, but I've been wanting to try a Sigelei Tmax.
It does 18650 and has a spare compartment to carry a second 18350. VV / VW, etc.
Of course, Fasttech doesn't have them yet. Authentic Sigelei Tmax - Body Only
You could also check the Inokkin SVD...
Nope, same switch.
You have to make sure you get the throw on the switch as short as possible. It's completely dependent on battery length and atomizer 510 depth. make sure to remove the "kick ring" which is the very thin ring. some people have trouble getting it off, but it does unscrew, I...
