It's not remotely messy. I haven't spilt a drop on me or anywhere else on multiple refills. Refilling doesn't get any easier than this.

You get similar black carbon build ups inside atomizers. It's unavoidable but mostly harmless. I've seen plenty of carbon in cartomizers and atomizers but I've never seen melted wadding and I can't see how it could be melted under normal atomizer temperatures, polyester wadding has a melting...

The condom method works better than dripping in my opinion, it soaks every part of the wool and is certainly quicker and more efficient. The condom method produces the same results to me, as a factory filled cartomizer.
