Got tired of waiting and emailed the vendor, the silicon grommets are food grade.

Did anybody ever figure out whether or not these grommets from Lightningvapes were made from medical grade silicon? I need to replace my very burnt grommets but I know that non-medical grade silicon can release carcinogens when heated.

Maybe my coils are spread too far apart? There's a lot of gap in the 5-wrap, I'm going to try switching to 30g and see if I can fit a 1.8 in the T3S housing, could be that the wicking is working faster than the coils can vaporize the liquid?
