Azure Vaping Disappointment, Any West Coast Alternatives?

Update: Emailed them this morning and just heard back from customer support, they said they were delayed waiting for a shipment. Hope I get my order soon, glad their customer support is responding to emails again. Bit of a rant first I'm afraid. I was a huge fan of Azure Vaping back when they...

    Lightning Vapes silicon grommets

Got tired of waiting and emailed the vendor, the silicon grommets are food grade.

    Lightning Vapes silicon grommets

Did anybody ever figure out whether or not these grommets from Lightningvapes were made from medical grade silicon? I need to replace my very burnt grommets but I know that non-medical grade silicon can release carcinogens when heated.

Does anybody make an ego-style vv passthrough?

I've been using the "vv" ego batteries for years, thinking they were the best of both worlds…until last week when I picked up a Smoktech vv twist. This thing is perfect for what I need, the problem is that with the amount I vape even the 1000mah battery doesn't last me all day. I need this same...

T3S vs EVOD: recoiling and rewicking results

It's mostly some crazy OCD that kicks in that wants them to be as evenly spaced as possible. I thought about them shorting out on the chimney, I think one of my first coils did that, but lately it hasn't been the problem. I finally got one to work like it should, for today at least. I used 30g...

T3S vs EVOD: recoiling and rewicking results

Maybe my coils are spread too far apart? There's a lot of gap in the 5-wrap, I'm going to try switching to 30g and see if I can fit a 1.8 in the T3S housing, could be that the wicking is working faster than the coils can vaporize the liquid?

T3S vs EVOD: recoiling and rewicking results

I anneal the coil before and after I wrap it, the screw that I use as to make the coils makes them pretty tight, usually takes me a good 5 minutes to stretch them out evenly and get them perfect (I'm a little OCD about it, it's always the little things). What really throws me for a loop is that...

T3S vs EVOD: recoiling and rewicking results

For a little over the last week I've been attempting recoils and rewicks of both my EVOD and T3S with varying success, but here's what I've found. Using a 1.3 screw (tried a 4-40 screw and the coils were WAY too big, huge compared to the factory coils, so I'm not sure where the miscommunication...

    Beginning Kanger Rebuilds

Shameless self-bump, hoping somebody can give me a workaround for 28g before I order another gauge. Also wondering if I should go for 30 or 32.

    Beginning Kanger Rebuilds

Rickajho, you are the man. I wish I had seen this before tonight but life managed to get in the way and I've been too distracted to devote much time to this project. Anyway I picked up some materials and I must have messed up. I'm using 28g Kanthal A1 and a small nail (about the width of a...

    compatible coil heads?

When I switched from the Vision CE5 to the Kanger T3S and EVOD I had a lot of left over CE5 attys, it took some finagling to get the coils in the new housing but they turned out to be really compatible. Funny aside: I just looked up the definition of "finagle", and wow have I been using that...

How I re-wick my T3's with cheesecloth (pictues)

So I've been using cheesecloth now for about a week and I'm sold. The new wicks last about 5 days with my constant vaping, and seem to work slightly better with a pg/vg mix than with pure vg, but not so much that pure vg is unvapable. I learned today that once the wick is burned even slightly...

How I re-wick my T3's with cheesecloth (pictues)

Day 1 (hour 3, specifically) of using cheesecloth wicks in my EVOD on a 2.4 coil with 100%vg. It took an hour or so of semi-constant vaping to "break in " the wick. Flavor doesn't seem as muted, but there is definitely a, I don't know, "cottony" flavor that's present. Gonna try it with a 1.8...
