I'm going to thank Apple for making their iPad because apparently they use 2.1A adapters, and tossing in "iPad" with my search for USB wall chargers has yielded far greater results :)

Anybody know where I could find a 5V 2A power supply to go with the PT? I'm pulling my hairs out trying to find one that's rated over 1000ma but costs less than $50, heh. USB Power Adapter is sold out of the 5V one =(

Just make sure it's low in nicotine. High doses of nicotine can cause sleep problems :) Probably best off with something else, though.. Tylenol PM maybe?

Part of that, I'm sure, is that not everybody runs outside climbing trees during a lightning storm. It would be great to see more safety features. Otherwise, that's not entirely far off from what many people are doing with their PV. Sure, they may not get struck, but they're not staying indoors...

Thanks Pyriel! And yeah, I think the PT is getting closer to the edge of the specs, but if it's the only real thing you're using, the PSU's should be able to handle it just fine. Strange that it keeps the modem going but drops the signal like that! Got my PS PT today, and it's working sooo...

What do you mean avoiding $25 for a real pass through? The PT I'm looking at is more than that. From puresmoker specifically so a wallwart would be far better? I appreciate your response!

Okay. Apparently 5V 1A is enough. No wonder ppl aren't having major issues frying their computers with these.

5V is pretty standard, but I'm pretty sure USB 2.0 doesn't even go up to 2 amps? Thought they were 500mA. That's why some external hard drives have you take up 2 USB ports or use a wall outlet for power.
