Just update I have given in and bought a MK2 and everything is A ok again :-)

Thank's for suggestions :-) I have cleaned all contacts and threads are already noaloxed so think it must be a problem with actual electronics tbh? I even tried different atties and still no low voltage warning so who knows? It still chugging along so that all that matters I suppose?

It seems to have settled down now and only done it once today? But another glitch it doesn't flash to warn you low battery voltage? It flashes when you insert battery etc and all functions work, but no warning flashes it just cuts off at 3.3V as it should! In answer to batteries yes...

Provari MK1 using standard 18490 AW batteries! My Provari using the above batteries and not one battery in particular (tried 2 new ones as well!) It will work fine for ages then you press button and nothing! No light nothing? Press button 5 Times and it will cycle through menu still though...

Nice review and I have to say the lavatube is in this case a you get what you pay for device IMO? One point that a major omission or fault I think is that it does not tell you when you have reached it's safety voltage setting! Instead it just lets you keep dialing the voltage up but not...

Just a quick look at the Ultramax I have been using it for a week or so solid, and now my preferred weapon of choice! I highly recommend this device, and love the neat touches, such as the reverse threads to stop over tightening! So good in fact I bought another one! :laugh: Here...
