    Has anyone quit real smoking?

Yes, Youtubecommercial, my doctor does not believe it's smoking. Also, all the MDs and nurses in November 2008, when I was hospitalized for a fracture and in August 2009, when I had that other surgery were fine with me using my e-cig while I was an inpatient. I can use it during office visits...

    Has anyone quit real smoking?

Yes, I quit cigarettes on November 8, 2008 and have not had one since. As a matter of fact, X-rays showed "mild emphysema" for the past 10+ years. I had to have abdominal surgery in August, so the anesthesiologists required a chest x-ray prior to surgery. NO EMPHYSEMA was detected on the...

    NJOY Coming off shelves Tuesday

Just checked Costco website. They were selling NJoy. Now they just show carts for sale. Anyone know about Costco stores?

    Experinces with your doctor...?

I posted earlier (buried somewhere) that when I went to the ER and was admitted to the hospital, ALL the MDs were intrigued and positive, as well as all the nurses. I was allowed to use my e-cig during a one-week stay, without any funny looks except for positive curiosity. My follow-up with an...

    E-Cig Success Rate?

Had to be in the hospital and then a place for rehabilitating my broken bones for a total of 3 weeks. That's all it took to quit regular cigs and use only e-cig. Both places let me, too.

    Share your public e-smoking experience

Hi all! I fractured my shoulder on Nov. 8, and before the ambulance took me away, I grabbed my meds and my e-cig. When I got to the ER, the MDs and other personnel had absolutely no problem with my using it. The doctors were fascinated (as were many other nurses, etc.). After a week there...

    Blood Pressure and E-Cigs

Tropical Bob, The spike isn't really a spike in the am for me--it's a little low for my normal reading in the morning right after I take my meds. It's the plummet that I'm concerned about, because it's too low too fast IMHO. My BP has never been that low for years. I used the "Medium"...

    Blood Pressure and E-Cigs

I'll let you know what happens tomorrow. My doctor won't see me just to check blood pressure, but what the nurse observes will go in my chart and the MD will see it and call me if necessary. Nicotine causes BP spikes, so I think it could be propylene glycol, but that's just a hunch.

    Blood Pressure and E-Cigs

Hi! I'm new here, but have read and re-read most of the threads on this forum. I have hypertension (and mild emphysema BTW). My MD had a hard time bringing my BP down over the last year. Well, I got my first e-cig (NJoy) yesterday and, since I measure my BP a couple of times a day, I was...
