that's a LiIon pack. my 2 cents mAH stands for milliAmpere Hour which is capacity of the pack or discharged at supposed miliAmp this pack will last theoretically for an hour. So look for mA or A as that's the discarge capabilities of the pack. 1000mA = 1A

your DC adapter should be fine for use it on the stock charger. End of the day the charger still outputs the same power to charge the battery. So no worries.
