As a suggestion you may want to try the ego system with type B attys. They hold a ton of juice, I get all day on a few refills and think they work well. You may find they leak occasionally at the joint, that is the only problem I have noticed. I hope you find a satisfying solution.

I have been happy with the flavors with my ego tank, but I could suggest that you use concentrated flavors. The HG brand juice is very concentrated, the dk, not so much.....

It would be interesting to see if it actually will freeze or just get thicker esp. with PG antifreeze. I would try it with a small batch to see.

I actually miss the gurgle! It is not there. I occasionally get a slight popping noise like a good new 510 atty or Ego cartomizer.

My experience has been that smoke detectors do not seem to care. I have never TRIED to set one off. Staying in non smoking hotels (recently even one that said it would charge much $$$ even when you left if anyone smelled smoke) has been no problem. I try to be discreet and low key.
