You can't charge a 180/280mah 510 batt on a eGo charger, it over charges and kills it.

They are compatible but made by different factories. DSE901 by SLB BE901 by BestEcig Usually SLB batts are mechanical (air activated) and BE batts are electro-magnetic (sound activated)

That's for the Wall charger. You don't need an adapter to charge the eGo battery on a 510 USB Charger, it screws perfectly, only takes longer to charge, 600mAg take 6 HRS vs 1.5 HRS that the eGo rapid charger takes. For 900mAh it should be around 9 hours to charge it...

I've never tried 5v on a LR but it sounds like too much, I think LRs are designed to be used on 3.7v only...

Probably low bridge if they're wide. I had the exact same problem with these (SLB LowB) that's why I asked. It was last year so I guessed they fixed this problem but apparently not, or maybe they did and you got old stock. IMO SLBs 801 attys are not that good, they have good 801 batts, 901...

Do you know if your 801 is SLB? Low bridge or high bridge?

801 and 901 manual batteries are sealed now. And they're better then autos so get them!
