I'm the lead singer of SueCity, I was also a pack a day smoker. Around August during a show with the Sick Puppies smoking noticeably ruined my voice for the first time. I was short of breath, had to growl my way through ballads, and by the end I was salvaging the show with backup singers. It was a train wreck and I decided to start vaping around that time. My throat, lungs, and band-mates have thanked me every since.
