Thanks dragit, I really do think it's the protected batts causing the problem. I will look into ordering some Li-Mh battery's. Do they require a different charger?

Keep in mind I am just testing here (don't need the nuclear meltdown warnings lol). But, I tried 16340 and 14500 stacked and the darn thing fires perfect. Guess I might have a couple bad batts (they test ok though). On a side note, love the new site design hoog! Makes me want to buy something lol.

It almost has to be emus. I found a set of 18350's (I think from a old dse pipe) and they work perfect! The other 3 sets of batteries (ones that came with it and 2 others i purchased) will not work. It absolutely has to be something in the protection circuits of the batteries.

Checked it with the ohm meter, no dead shorts. While i was at it I loaded up the 6v batts and tested the voltage at the atomizer connection and it shows 7.69v. I can put a carto or atty on it and notta, nothing. Took out the 6v batts and put in the 18650 voltage measures 3.95 with same carto...

Thanks guys! I popped the silicone ring out (with the two holes) and filled it and replace the silicone ring. It just seemed like it only took about 1/2 mil before the fluid was gushing out of the other hole. Either way. With a little trial and error I think I might have it worked out. Thanks again!

Man so far these things have been a mess for me. Looked like a juice explosion hit my desk earlier. As soon as I start trying to fill the carto juice starts erupting from the other side then down the center and onto my hands and desk. Been vaping for over 2 years and never had this much trouble...
