Agree I also think the skepticism from people on the forum about the ECA is warranted. If the ECA is a trade association, it is working in the best interest of it's members (suppliers) by definition, not the consumer. It is odd that a true trade association would solicit donations...

What about the motors in cell phones and pagers for the vibrate mode? I would think they are pretty small and have a low current draw. I haven't seen one in person but It's just a thought.
