Cheers eye that confirms it for me that my o-ring wasn't doing its job, the slightest crack open and i used to have quite a bit of side to side movement, not so now with the thicker o-ring.

Hi Morfeus, Yes the liquid control is always fully closed and the cap is always fitted separately, cap then o-ring and lastly securing nut. It definitely points to the o-ring at the base of the metal ceramic holder, i will fit a different sized one and give the results later on

Cheers eye i'll try a different o-ring, only thing i can think of is if it's not centrally seated it's drawing in a small amount of e-liquid into that o-ring point if the seal isn't 100% causing the leaking from the centre pole

A good tip Hvdp, but like you i always make sure it's a single wire, i think having a single wire trapped is much more logical than a 3 ply wire
