I agree. After just rinsing my atomizer in water and then heating the coil to an orange glow 3 or 4 times, I don't think the coffee dispenser cleaner really did anything. I'm not going to use it anymore. The rinse and burn method seems to be the one that has the best results for me.

I seriously doubt it has freon in it. Lookup the Ideal gas law. Basically, temperature is proportional to the pressure times the volume. If the pressure decreases, cause you're spraying the air, and the volume stays the same, the inside of the can stays the same, then the temperature decreases.

It sounds like your atomizer coil is covered in gunk. If I were you, I'd rinse it out with water to get the leftover juice out, then soak it in distilled water overnight, tap'll work if you don't have distilled. Then rinse it out as best you can. Blow on the ends of it to get as much remaining...

Why don't you try a soak in distilled water for an hour or two and than a rinse and then maybe some heat. See how much comes off that way.

Was it a bone dry coil or did you soak it first? I'm thinking just the act of soaking might help soften up the gunk which would allow something like high pressure steam to shoot it off. A soaked pan is much easier to clean than a dry pan.

Have you tried covering some of the holes? You could be getting too much air through there which dilutes the fog.
