  • Hey, I just saw your ravelry post on the women's board! I'm in Bloomington, and I knit and vape! woo hooo. I don't think I know anyone else around me who vapes. Indyvaporshop is nice though. Nice to meet you!
Pretty sure the Expo is still active, but I haven't been to it. My parents have been breeders for about 30 years, and I just started helping them 2 years ago after retiring.
My mom has a hyacinth named Inca that was pretty much a rescue, but we do have 2 breeding pairs in our aviary.
Hey there! Stopped by to congratulate you on the pending Indulgence sale, and saw your B&G. My little boy is less than 2 yrs old, and he was raised with one of our hybrids, that we designated a Phoenix macaw. Her name also happens to be Phoenix :p and I hand fed the 2 of them when they were babies!
Here is a link to Photobucket, that has *most* of the birds at my house.

As for the cockatoo yelling, if they have already "trained" you to react to them this will be harder, but the only solution is to resort to "intentional neglect". Intentionally ignore them (don't even look at them) when screaming, then interact with them later (set a schedule?) and encourage them to play in a low tone of voice. 'Toos can unfortunately become very needy if excessively coddled or ignored when young.
I am glad you got it. I really thought that stuff was way too strong for me, made me cough. Yeah, I just didn't want to try and get it into a smaller bottle and thought that you just might really like it :) All I use are 501 attys and 501 cartos.
Oh, got the AC you sent me today...Pretty good stuff, was thinking it would have a much stronger aroma/flavor for some reason. Gonna wait until my 510 manual w/drip-tip gets here, try vaping it on that and see what if it makes a difference vs. my DSE103. Again, I appreciate your helping me VERY much...3ml was all I wanted, and I noticed you sent me more than that...makes me wanna pay it forward too! :D
LOL! If I knew how to shut any of them up I would :) The big ones are very hormonal right now which just makes them noisier. My macaw yells shut up after he has a screaming fit also. Just don't know, I live with it.
Oh my gawd...A cockatoo...I sorry! My girl also has a Cockatoo...a pink Muloccan (I think that's how it's spelled), his name is Ditto, and he ***never*** shuts up!! He's either screaming, cackling, cat-calling, whistling, or some other random (and sometimes funny) noise-making. Her macaw actually tells Ditto "shut up" whenever his screaming is too rediculous! Any tips???
Why yes I do :) That is Omino in the picture. He is 19 yrs old and loves my husband, hates me, lol! We also have 6 other parrots. I have a cockatoo that hates my husband and loves me so I guess we're even :)
Oh, just noticed you have a pic of a Blue and Gold macaw on your profile...My girlfriend actually owns one, birds name is Amber...Her is 16 or so years old, really pretty and cuddly-like! Do you own one too??
