my guitar... just wanted to post directly to you so i dont threadjack that post. the guitar was actually pieced together by me.
its a no-name les paul (ish) body that i stripped and repainted. switched out the cheap chinese pickups for some GFS Mean90 humbucker sized P90 pups. added a trapeze style tail piece. rewired to have one master volume and one master tone, with the pup switch relocated by the knobs. the neck is a chinese EDEN neck in a 25.5" strat scale maple fretboard that came with a blank paddle head that i shaped out to a slotted head style (like classical guitars). putting everything together took me about a month, spent less than $400, and its the guitar i gig with. ive always wanted a les paul like this but it doesnt exist, and even if i paid for it, i dont think gibson would build it for me. so this was my only option. hahaha thanks for the compliment though!
