I haven't had a bit of burnt taste since I started using the felt, I had it all the time with the filler in blank cartridges. Maybe it has something to do with how well the felt holds and moves moisture. Make sure to try to leave a hole through the middle of the fold to allow air to move through it.
Are your atomizers working any better today and did you get any felt to try out? -
