You can. They are just clear rubber earring backs. Those particular ones I got at Michael's craft supplies. They come in a package that looks like this:
You also have to plug the hole in the earring back with something. For that I used what is called a head-pin (also a jewelry finding, can get at Michael's). This is what they look like: 1" Silver-Plated Headpins - Fire Mountain Gems and Beads
You have to trim the head-pins off with a wire snipper after you put them in the earring backs.

If you are a DIY kind of person and want to make your own tanks, search for a thread called 'home made syringe tank, looks easy'. A bunch of us posted all about these. Lots of good ideas and variations.

I do have an ASCP certification as a Medical lab Tech. I Did that for 7 years before I got sick of it. Liked the science more then the aplication. I mean I liked what I did, just didn't like doing it. Bench work is monotonous as hell. bleh!
Speaking of books I bought sam Harris 'The Moral Landscape' the other day. Sam Harris is a total rock star.

I would wait for him to email you back to make sure hes still at traders world. If not im sure he would meet you somewhere. That way you can save money so you dont have to pay shipping costs etc...Hey spaz, Yes i talked to him once but i forgot his name. I just emailed him and responded back the next day for me. He also said he would be willing to meet me somewhere also so i could look at his juices and other products if i wanted too! Traders world is only open on the weekends... Hope this helps!
