Kentucky Researcher Urges "Third Way" for Nation's Smokers | WKU Public Radio
Brad Rodu says it's time for the public health community to re-think how it looks at the smoking debate in this country.
Rodu is head of the tobacco Harm Reduction effort at the University of Louisville's James Graham Brown Cancer Center.
He says for too long the smoking issue has come down to an all-or-nothing wager: smokers are told they either have to give up cigarettes, or keep smoking and die.
Dr. Rodu says smokers can get their nicotine fix without the disease-causing agents found in cigarettes.
He says e-cigarettes are one viable option.

No problem mg, you've made a number of good posts and I like your attitude.
I noticed you smoked a long time. I was also a long time (43 years) smoker who gave up trying to quit until I found e cigs about 2 1/2 years ago. Feb 15th I'll be 2 years without a single drag on a smoke with no desire for one. I needed a little help from snus to get past those last half dozen smokes a day, but I was a 2-3 PAD smoker at the end.

well in australia at healthecigarettes.com.au they call it an ego, Its got a cone on it and I think its 650mah? Im still noob at all this, it lasts me about 5 hours, I have ordered one that is 1100mah? I have let them try mine and I use it at work (i have a work mate who got one for her and her hubby) but they still at this stage are smoking cigs as well as using vapouriser just for when they cant smoke at this point I have encouraged them to come to this site to hopefully open their minds. Not sure if tehy have yet. but Im trying!! -
