It is a coldheat soldering iron with the soldering tip removed. press the atomizer against the contacts(outer part to one contact and the inner part to the outer contact. it works great with fresh batteries, I will be attatching an rca female plug to it this weeken and attatching a battery connector to a male rca plug. then it will be complete. hope that helped.
