first get a very small flat head screw driver, like the glasses repair kit kind. look at your stick, under the button, you can see how it looks like a different piece under there, rectangle shaped, stick the screw driver right below the button and act like you sliding the rectangle part down and prying it up at the same time. it tastes a very small amount of pressure to do this, just be careful as there is a little plastic clip off to the right that holds this whole piece tight. after you get it off, its easy to clean, unstick, fix whatever you need. if i have to do it again, ill take pictures. ive only ever had to do it once, and that is cuz i spilled coffee in mine once you have it apart, if you are doing it now, let me know what is wrong and i can tell you how to fix it as well.
