You are bringing me back to the good old days when you mentioned the CBX500. I received training and certifications in the 5E, CBX500, Max TNT, Lucent fiber installer/splicer, MCP Windows 2000, CCNA, A+.
I loved AT&T and then spinning off to Lucent.
My last position was with RIM (Bkackberry), I supported their data center. That was a tough gig. More security than I had ever seen just to get into the parking lot and guards to get into the center, just like the airport screening.
My first position was with NASCAR in Daytona Beach as a Network Support Technician.
Now i am 40 years old and have had two fusion surgeries on my back, injections, nerve blocks, physical therapy and epidurals. The doctors call it failed back syndrome. I am trying to settle my case as workmans comp insurance does not procide the best treatment.
Glad to have met another telecom guy on the boards.
