"Lucky" is an empath , this bird can differentiate a visitor's general attitude from across the house (even through walls !) and makes enough racket that the person will cut short thier visit, this only happens with a person who has a "pissy" outlook. Otherwise, he is calm and lovable.
The other parrot, "Alex" (an african grey) has entirely different characteristics.
I came across both birds from the same couple that found that they were too much trouble. I love them, they helped me through some very difficult times, and have earned my devotion for thier well being.
