Hey Nic, I got an report on The Kick we discussed a while back. I eventually screwed up the kick, trying to get it to fire consistently for a reasonable time. I put it in a Rough Stack with a cardboard shim to force a good connection. It got stuck and I tried to pry it out with a butter knife, apparently I shorted it out... Anyway, I had to buy another (anticipating the arrival of my Shockwave), well I put the new one in my aluminum GGTS and its been working like a charm for a month now and couldn't be happier. Granted, I only use it with an 18650 and low Res. Atties. But I am extremely happy. So I must have had 2 faulty Kicks in the past and have a good one now or Evolv made an update to not turn off so soon. I wish I could recommend The Kick to my friends, but my luck with this one might still be a rarity. I will buy another Kick as soon as I can, because I hate to remove this one and press my luck.
