On August 17th at 10 AM the Colorado Board of Health will meet in Denver to discuss dissolvable tobacco. Dissolvables, like e-cigarette, are both effective means of quitting smoking and 98-99% less harmful than smoking. However, dissolvables are attacked for some of the same reasons e-cigarettes are, namely that they supposedly pose a horrible threat to children.
CASAA is seeking out someone who cares about tobacco harm reduction to speak at the meeting. We'd be glad to help you in any way possible.
More info can be found on our Call to Action page. Even if you can't attend, a letter supporting dissolvable tobacco sent to the Board of Health would be much appreciated.
Please get in touch.
