  • You take good care too, kind sir! I'm really in a tither right now. Trying to decide on things...fixed income bites big time! But better than nothing, right? lol!!!
Well, guess I'll sleep on it and maybe I'll know better what to do tomorrow when it's time to order. I only use single coil, too. I'll look at those cartos you mentioned. Maybe if the price is right and they have 2ohm SCs it might be a good idea. Arrgh! Decisions decisions!
Thank you...that was a very kind thing to say! I always look forward to your posts, too. Feel like I have a real friend here on ECF. It's a big place and sometimes I feel a bit overwhelmed (and in the minority with some of my opinions! haha!) Hope your weekend went well. Tomorrow our SSA check comes in and I'm trying to figure out what to get this month. VERY frustrated with the life I'm getting out of my cartos in the cartotanks...and have had some issues with dud EMSCCs. Not sure what to do at this point. I may try the ikenvape ones, but wonder if they'll really make a difference. When you are a hard core chain vaper, things can be challenging! :) No matter the quality..when you run 10ml. through a tank in one day, it's a rare carto that can keep up! Ack!!
I've been looking at the IBtanks...and may try one soon...just can't justify the expense right now. I'm wanting the Lavafire mechanical mod more! And I'm thinking about getting a Bolt for back up, too. Priorities! Haha! I don't have any trouble with the plastic tubes on my current tanks...so I am not in a hurry to invest in the Pyrex or glass just yet. I was curious about the Boge tank 'cause they were on sale for a good price. Have a GREAT day!
Oh good...I finally did the message thing right! Do you recommend the Boge F-16 5 ml tanks? I saw them at VaporBeast and wondered if they were good. Hope you have a good and Happy Thanksgiving, too!
I think I got the answer I needed for my tanks. Seemed like I was running through cartos awfully fast...they would last about 2 days then start tasting burnt if using them in a 6ml. tank. I only recently started "embracing" the larger tanks (been using 3.5ml. ones awhile) when I started using mods almost exclusively. I couldn't figure out what was going on. What I was told was something that I guess was obvious, but no one told ME...and that was to take a sharp "dry hit" (without firing) every now and then to "prime" the carto in the tank. Especially helpful for chain vapers like me. I tend to vape so often and so hard I guess the juice can't wick into the carto fast enough! harhar!

Anyway, since finding that out...it's made a world of difference!! Much happier with the big tanks now!
Well...I know I replied to you since your last message...but the cybergods seem to have eaten it! I got my problem solved, thank goodness. Let me know if you get this message. I DID message you before. Honest!!
Doing okay. Lazy Saturday. Say...you use cartotanks, don't you? I was wondering if I could pick your brain about an issue I seem to be having with using 6ml. tanks. Would that be okay?
Any time my sweetie. I can tell from your post that your a good person. I only want to wish you the best of life that it has to offer.
I'd give it an 7 out of a possible 10. The silicone bushings/seals for the center post are a bit small and look fragile. I damaged one when I got a bit impatient the bottom one is flange shaped and it looks like a week point. Almost but not quite as much vapor as the vivi. the wick is a bit far from the juice so I leave it on its side to keep the wick saturated. I'm using silica 5 strands of 1mm and about 8 turns of 32 gauge kanthal. A bit too many turns as the resistance was 2.8 ohms. Next time I do a wick it will be 2 ss mesh wicks there is room to do it but I will have to use the fill hole screw as ground on one of them. I'll let you know how that works out. I know how you feel on the purchases I have a hold on that except for any possible failures.
