  • My pleasure! I treated it like I would teach my students. The correct and safe way at least needs to be available online, and honestly I have not seen anyone post a similar procedure. At least the FDA would see that someone tried to communicate proper handling and processing techniques. Not that I expect everyone to follow them...
Thanks for posting about how to handle 100mg and store it. Along with how to safely package the stuff, since now I will add some perlite to my storage area just in case there is a leak.
Making a good curve took a little time...very easy for it to bend all at one point and crimp off any liquid flow. Has to be lots of VERY slight bends until it is all curved. You are shooting for the needle to be able to touch the inside wall. Then just tilting will allow all the juice to be taken out. If you can feel the end of the needle scraping the wall, you should be good to go. But 1.5" is the length I'm using. I may have mentioned this (I seem to repeat myself sometimes...the prof thing) but the 30 mL bottles from TW do not need needle bending, and they come with euros. Prices are ok when they run sales. 95% of my unflavored is VTvapor VG-only 35 mg. Hoping to order more from MFS soon if there's a sale. They get rave reviews. What PV are you using?
Looks like the friends thing showed up in both of our member areas, neat. May of over bent the needle I tried it with and as noted in my other post may not have turned the needles away from the drain tube on it and the others. Never used a euro-dropper before, only stuff with open or rubber ended bottles. Yep, shes a rescued cocker spaniel-2 yr old when I got her. Pic was on her last trip to the eye doc, goes again Mon. Her eyeless side wasn't facing the cam, and being small you can't tell her other eye is about blown. Laser surgery has the pressure down, but cataract is taking her site. She also had huge and smaller bladder stones removed in the past, and will just about bust to wait and do hers outside. She now cost's more than my car did :), but has been well worth it.
BTW, it looks like the dog in your avatar is an american cocker. I had one for a long time that looked just like that one. Smart dog, but tended to pee inside when things weren't going his way...
I accepted your friend invite, so we'll see if that works. One thing I found with the 50 mL eurodropper bottles is the syringe needle needs to be gently curved. If it is straight it will only reach part of the liquid, but if you curve it and are careful to not fold-bend it, it will reach to the edge and tilting the bottle will allow all juice to be gotten. One can also buy bent luer-lock needles. I love stuff like this...reminds of my days making reactions work in an orgo lab. :) Happy to friend you, Kay!
Your welcome Kurt and very deserving of kind words. Back due to some of your other posts.
I've already run into problems with the euro bottles, but hopeully 1.5" needles will help some.
My try: htp://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/50762-child-proofing-daily-used-items-diy-supplies.html Hopefully you'll have better luck with it.
LOL I've visited peoples pages, but think yours is the only one I've commented on. Since this is a first for you, I'll go for a first for me and click on the Befriend Kurt link. Wonder if you get to say yes or no to friendship? :) More than likely you can.
Great Vaping to you also, but quit killing those atty's <grin>.
Time to call it a night, and excuse any typo's--I'm a good mind reader sometimes.
Hi Kay! Thanks for the kind words! Very happy my advice is appreciated by someone! Once I get more time...research has been taking almost all of it the last few weeks...I do plan to write or make vids about how to do all I'm talking about with eros and syringes. Excellent safety is not only easy, it makes working with juices and making DIYs much easier too! Win win! I will take your challenge and at least start a thread on safety with small kids. Excellent idea!

thanks for visiting! Never used this visitors message thing, but it appears to be a priivate thread of some kind. Cool!

    Cheers and happy vaping!
    Kurt
Hey Kurt, thanks for all the great info you have provided in links, especially how you do things and safety. Some may baulk at safety measures, but all it will take is a few kids harmed by this for the FDA to really go after it big time. In the DIY section I wish they would sticky a thread as Safety Measures for ppl with Kids to prevent them from running the risk of getting hurt and people could share ideals they may not have thought of. I've picked up some VIP info off of you and DVAP that I didn't know and feel I can trust the knowledge you guys present due to your fields of work, others you really have to research some on before you decide if they sound right.
Thanks for sharing your wisdom. Kay
