  • It took me a week or two to get the "squonking" technique down. I was so afraid that I was going to flood the atty, that I wasn't giving it enough juice. This caused some burnt juice vapes. Once I figured out that flooding it was pretty difficult to do, I did stronger pulls on the bottle and soon was getting the proper amount of juice to the atty. If interested in the VMod, sign up for the Vapage newsletter. They have frequent sales only for those on the newsletter list with coupon codes. I got nearly 40% off of my VMod with a coupon code, and used that money saved for one of the custom sleeves - the faux wood one seen in my photo posted. Hope that helps.
I'm pretty new with bottom feeders myself. I've been using the same atomizer that came with my VMOd over 2 months ago. I've only soaked it in hot water a couple of times. Some people soak theirs in Everclear alcohol or vodka. Whether to dry burn them seems to be controversial. I haven't mine. I've not noticed any dried juice buildup; when I began getting a harsh vape is when I decided to soak mine, which did the trick. Pretty maintainance free. The VMod can be soaked also (w/o battery of course). Purely mechanical; I don't really miss variable voltage when using it.
