  • I hope so.... Vic has managed to get his truck to the bottom of the drive. The rest of the vehicles aren't going anywhere anytime soon! I will let you know when I know. I'm looking forward to seeing the PCC!!!! LOL
lol, well the upside is she'll prob LOVE it! :) Nope, not from NC but lived here since I was 3. I was born in CA. I like here here tho. Lived in FL for a few (4-5) yrs and I DID fall in love with the water and weather...but something about NC always seemed to feel like home. SO, here I am! :)
Yeah, its been a calm one...bc of the weather mostly but the much needed relaxation is def nice! How abbout you? Enjoying the down time (snowdays) or bummed bc the weather ruined some plans? So, are you from the VA...I ask bc I have alot of friends that live in VA but none of them are from there...
Yeah, I hear VA got it BAD!!! Here we got a foot, went away, got another foot but its about washed away now from all thee rain. Seems like a really long winter so far and its not near over yet! Hopefully some of this sunshine we've had today will make its way up to FBurg soon! :)
Hi there, Mercy, thanks for the comment.

As to how I felt about the final book...sort of mixed feelings, I don't think Eddie (as much as I loved the character) and Jake should have been "revived" in another world, it sort of makes their sacrifices in the quest seem less important and meaningful...as for Roland's fate, I just hope to God that having the "Horn of Eld" will allow him to finally finish the quest for good this time around...I was devastated when we learned he had to start all over again! How many times has the poor ....... had to go through all that?

All that said...the DT was a fantastic series, I really loved reading it (and will do so again!).

It's usually somewhere around 20 minutes past Upper Moose Jaw but still someplace before East Turkey Neck. In this particular instance, it's on the easternmost extent of what can be considered "Metro St Louis" :D

Used to love comics too (did I mention I have a short attention span?) and still have a little collection stored away. Any favorites?

Ultimate dork confirmation in 5..4..3..2..1.. Every once in a great while I enjoy a game of Magic the Gathering. I would probably play more if I had someone to play with that is old enough to not make me seem like some creepy old villain. YouTube - MC Frontalot - Hassle: The Dorkening

My passion is music. DJing, mostly, trying to get into production, but I never got to pursue music growing up so now I'm playing catch up with theory and what not.

Either PM or facebook is fine, go ahead and PM me with your choice. I'm still trying to figure facebook out and haven't discovered a way to have private conversations other than chat. Do PMs have length restrictions?

    The power of voodoo.
Well I hesitate to proclaim my dorkness because dorky is the new sexy and I don't want to seem conceited :p But I totally am. Dorky that is. Deninitely not conceited. Aaanyway, congrats on being dorky, it is imho, admirable.

I'm so dorky that I passed on a paying gig last to go pick up a new video game that launched at midnight lol. I wouldn't call myself a gamer, but I do really dig certain RPGs.

I used to read books like crazy, but have all but forgotten how. I think its due to my short attention span and the advent of the internet. Its like in scifi movies when they stare at some flashing screen to posess all the knowledge in the universe (5th Element). I just go from interest to interest, tangent to tangent, distraction to distraction, learning all I ever wanted to know about anything and discovering new things to learn about. No time left for books. Gah, need to make time. Way to motivate! Any book suggestions to break me back in?

    Sonava.. did it again.. TBC..

I agree with you on the football fandom, I used to watch football with my Dad when I was a kid. He was a die hard Denver fan. He died a few years ago and I haven't watched a full game since. Not because it makes me sad or anything dramatic like that, I just can't get into it *shrug*

Not into any sports, really. Or, more accurately, not into TV which is required for watching most sporing events. I like to occasionally go watch local hockey or arena football though.

Back in the day, my friends and I organized a "punk rock soccer" league. We played every Sunday. Basically, if you scored, your opponents had to shotgun a beer. It was pretty cool, new teams would form and show up, and talk trash and what not. Kind of like dance battling heh.

What are you into besides soccer?

    The babe with the power.
Yeah Sunday is my day of coma. Usually have some sort of ridiculicious (I just invented a word! Yeah!) breakfast to mark the end of the weekend and the beginning of recovery. Strange, I never thought of breakfast as punctuation before :p

I'm happy for your reunion. Reunions are rad. Particularly when you weren't hoping for or expecting them. Reunions that have been longed for have alot of expectations and can come up short (though if they don't I'm sure it would be the best reunion of all). My money is on the sweet surprise. Which kind was yours?

    ..hmm.. to be continued..

It wouldn't send because it was too long... Is there another convenient way to correspond, or should I just work on my brevity?
Oh yeah I got plenty of sleep, just not until today :)

Old friends are always fun, its really a no lose situation. Either they are cool and its great to get reacquainted, or they suck and you can continue to file them under "old friends", while being entertained by the reminders of how they ended up there in the first place. Or maybe thats just me.

I'm almost always up for goofing off, but I'm not much of a football fan.

You remind me of the babe..
"Did you say hello?" "No, I said 'allo, but thats close enough" :D

Heya thanks for reachin out :) I'm good. Sleepy, but good. I'm trying to decide if I should go to sleep, or go out. Sleep deprivation delirium does (alliteration rocks!) actually seem like it could be kinda fun right now...

    Aaand you?
