There is no organization which "police's" the battery industry. Some of the flashlight forums and Dampfakkus ( http://www.dampfakkus.de/liste_akkus.php ) are the only ones independently testing battery specifications. If you are nervous, buy only name brand Sony VTC4, Samsung25R, LG-HE2 from reputable vendors such as RTD Vapor, Illumin, Lighthound, and Orbtronics.

Thanks a million. Recently picked up an lg he4 and its from a local vendor here in N. H. Whom i trust, and sold to me over the vtc4,even tho its cheaper (and he made less $ off me) and he pulled the door off his box mod to show he is using the same batt for that particular mod. I believe he said he got them frim rtd vapor. Any thoughts on these?

I know that the HE2 is one of the top batteries on the market within its specs. I'm not sure how the HE4 differs to be honest, as it hasn't been on the open market long.

So far theyre great in my sig 150 and they've perforned as well, if not a tad bit better than my mxjo (says 35amp,but this is probs exaggerated) batt.Theres a good in depth test out there on the interwebs comparing the two(HE2+HE4) and the findings are that it(HE4)only outperforms the HE2 by a small amount, but a detectable amount nonetheless. Ive only used the 4 so I just cant give an op

Also real quick question,(since your the go-to guy for battery questions/safety) whats your favorite 18650 currently when shooting a high amp, lower ohm setup? My sig wont allow me to go below 1.5,and this is a good thing. I cant imagine needing more than that anyway, I just wonder if we(vapers) will find new ways to keep pushing the limits of these batteries.

Woops, i meant 0.15,lol...I havent done a 1.5 ohm since those kanger dual coils, which I loved! They got the job done but I cant leave sub-ohms... To satisfying
