Yep I still talk to her. Used to retain hope but she's found a new bf so ,*sigh* o well..
Honestly I was glad to get rid of my ex family. They hated me. I'm a jezabel lol corrupted their good lil thumpin preacher boy.

Woodpeckers will bang on trees/houses/ whatever , when they are trying to attract a mate or to keep a mate.
we used to have a pair of woodpeckers but one of the cats ate one, which is why I know how big they really are. Had to put the poor thing out of her misery and bury her. She wasn't nearly as light as you'd expect I think she weighed like a half pound!
we have peacocks and sapsuckers and pileated or something woodpeckers. theyh're really big and no they don't care if it's vinyl or aluminum or wood. when they feel the need to hunt bugz they bang on the house.
I *Think* that chain is holding a dead animal carcass for the animals to eat, and the wolf is protecting it from the bird.
or not, upon closer inspection.... tangled wolf?
I actually followed a rootsweb email thread for orphan train news for a while. Definitely difficult but more and more people are hunting down orphan train ancestors and actually finding connections.
