Just want to say this because I was unaware of taking off or adding washers. The batteries I have used so far are: Tenergy 14500 (comes with the full kit I believe) IMR AW 14500 600 mAH (Red) I didn't remove or add anything, not sure if that helps anybody. Works fine for me???- FrogHat

Yes Brock is correct, 3 clicks to the left. Place the black lead to the bottom of battery and the red lead to the top...............take a reading.- FrogHat
