    I recoiled the wick after boiling and torching.....3/4 of a tank gone and all is clear. It had to be one of the wraps causing the discoloration.

    Just venting...... My 3/32 wick is changing my juice color for some reason, I must have a wrap that is acting up. I hate to re-wrap.....but on a side note I just got some more in the mail. I haven't heard of anyone else having this problem.....hmmmmm

    So how often are you guys cleaning/re-wrapping your wicks? When mine starts popping or turning my juice dark I found that gunk has built up on one of the wraps and just dry burn. I know some have reported dry burning just bakes the juice into the wick and decreases its performance. Dry burning...

    Use a broken one, it's only a test and all the wick has to do is have a tight coil wrapped around it. I still use this one :)

    I am begining to think ceramic wicks and couches are the way of the future :) On the go.....seems to be dangerous.

    Keep an eye on the center screw it does move when you screw your delivery device on. Steve says he's got something in mind to stop/slow that down. I've had the Mini since it came out.

    If everything looked good....put it in the tank and go for it. Trial and Error is the best medicine.
