    New ECF Theme!

That floating box (which causes the page to scroll up and down while it calculates the position) drives me nuts, so back on the old theme myself ...

Tootle Puffers, Part Three! (The Sequel of the Redux)

Micro-particles and oils and waxes extracted from the tobacco during the extraction process. These micro-particles, oils and waxes can be substantially reduced by using ethanol as the extraction solvent instead of PG (and/or VG) ... refer to this thread for more info: Tobacco extraction using...

Tootle Puffers, Part Three! (The Sequel of the Redux)

Water is a great coolant and cools the coil too quickly

    New ECF Theme!

The profile panel and "Members Online Now" panel to the right of the screen display totally redundant data (I was going to call it information, but it's not even that) and to have them floating just adds to the redundancy (and chews my CPU process time and is really annoying as the screen...

So you can find them when you put them down?

New theme in the works. Preview?

Before I retired, I wrote the styles for a corporate web portal. Black (#000000) text on a white (#FFFFFF) background tires the eyes if you are required to look at them for long periods, the best, easy on the eyes colours I found were blue/grey (#435660) text on an off-white (#FBFBFB)...

You can start here: Nicotine Comparisons Also, it's available on 2 other forums you frequent ;)

Tootle Puffers, Part Three! (The Sequel of the Redux)

You can convert your normal freebase nic to nicotine salt by adding the correct amount of benzoic acid (an organic acid) to it, which converts some or all of the nicotine into nicotine benzoate (ie a salt). There are a number of advantages to this, but the main one would be to enable high (in...

Tootle Puffers, Part Three! (The Sequel of the Redux)

Generally true that vertical coils have the wick wrapped around the coil and horizontal coils have the wick through the coil, but I have used an atty which has a vertical coil and the wick goes through the coil (genesis style), and horizontal coils with the wick wrapped around the coil (case in...

Tootle Puffers, Part Three! (The Sequel of the Redux)

Someone asked about 14500 mods? Here is a GP Piccolo #0069 with a GP Spheroid #3930 on top :)

    Tobacco extraction using heated Ethanol

I just went back through the thread a bit ... that "few days" I referred to above is actually around 30 days, and I think the credit goes to @Str8vision (although I didn't find the original post that mentioned it).

    Tobacco extraction using heated Ethanol

If you add PG to your PGA extract, don't evaporate the PGA for a few days, giving the flavour enough time to transfer to the PG. I've done this, and it works well. I'd also only do it with say 10% of your extract, just to verify the method before committing all your extract.

Need to mix something with no visible vapor

He he, I'm pretty sure they're made with PG and 17% distilled water ;)
