    Tobacco extraction using heated Ethanol

Let me just express my appreciation for your time in designing the distillation unit and creating the drawings for us. Thank you very much mate :) And, you're right ... a cheap source (or any source even ) of PGA would be the bees knees

    Tobacco extraction using heated Ethanol

That's a thought mate ;) I don't need to make a decision just yet, I'm on day 2 of the freezer stabilisation on my latest extraction with filtering to be done tomorrow night. Then the mix with 30ml PG, the 30 day homogenising period and then the reduction prior to use. This is fun

    Tobacco extraction using heated Ethanol

It's looking more and more to me that I will be using ISO, with a distillation afterwards to remove it. Damn our nanny state govt :(

The Overlooked Tootle Puffer Gear Thread

So, what's wrong with a 19mm OD 2ml atty? Would look just fine on an eGo ONE 1100mAh battery :D

No worries mate :D utube has some videos by Red Nile (the guy from the video linked above) on making 85% ABV, from sugar

    Tobacco extraction using heated Ethanol

It was only a comment ... 500g will hold 11x it's volume? That's a lot of vodka  Love to see that vodka video when you find it ... no pressure though ;) Still, if I want to reuse the extracted ethanol (from vodka), I'm still up for distillation of the PG/ethanol mix. Which brings up 1...

    Tobacco extraction using heated Ethanol

Dumb question: how do I know it's for soaking up the water and not the ethanol? ETA: as in is the correct molecular sieve for our purpose ... I can't see anything on the page. Because it's 3A?

    Tobacco extraction using heated Ethanol

He started with 95% ethanol anyway  Yeah, I had seen a similar vid previously, but I'm a visual guy and like to actually see something happening ... Also, the drying of the ethanol can take days but at least you can reclaim the drying agent for later use.

    Tobacco extraction using heated Ethanol

I don't think so as their product is oil, but it did have some info on vacuum distillation which I've just revisited in the last couple of days.
