The new uk law and large tanks (question)

Wow. So if that is what you think you need to do to keep your child safe then that is what you should buy and have around your house. But, why should others who have no such concerns be decreed by law to the same standers? And to be perfectly honest, you should keep your E-stuff well out of...

    Mixing By Weight: Basics 101

Yes, if you have your VG set for 1g then that could throw things off quite a bit. As mentioned, it wouldn't give you the target amount, and make the mix PG heavy. You should think about setting your calculator up properly and give it another go. I bet you will find that you can reproduce your...

    Charging Paranoia

It is up to the device to regulate the inflow, that's kinda the way things work. The OP's device can charge at a 2ah rate so you want to give it at least 2amps to maximize the devices capabilities. You can use a 1A charger but it will be slower, you can use a 5A charger but it will not charge...

    Mixing By Weight: Basics 101

Welcome to the way of the weigh! I'm certain you will find mixing by weight easier, more consistent and quicker than mixing by volume. Absolutely no gratuitous disclaimer here because, well, science. The advice given on the scale was spot on so I wont elaborate further. Either of the scales...

    Blue Raspberry flavor

If I were to try to re-produce such a flavor, with what I have in my cabinet, I would start with something like Cap. Blueberry Jam ~6%, TFA Raspberry ~2% and a touch of Koolada and see where that got me.

Indeed, I was referencing the regular banana. The way to use Ripe Banana is to take the cap off, wave it over your mixing bottle and then put the cap back on. Even then it may be to strong.

    Recipes for Dummies

Oh, I didn't take it in any wrong at all, I just didn't want to sound all know it all-y :) I believe you said this was one of Bills recipes and I like some of his work. Others of it not so much. Almost all of it is more heavily flavored than I will usually use. I've always found that 12% is...

    Recipes for Dummies

Again, not even a recipe that I have tried but it seems like your creating a battle ground here. Adding EM to reduce tartness and then adding tartness back in with the Sweet-Tart? If it works for you then, it works for you! Just my thoughts :)

    Recipes for Dummies

Just my humble but, I would think all that EM would be muting the flavor. I would drop it down to 2-3%. Add some sweetener if need be to replace some of what you took out by lowering the EM %.

I don't use that base in particular but I use a very similar one in Berry Berry Good and use Forest Fruit and others berries. Strawberry as mentioned, TFA Banana at ~6%, FW Blueberry ~9% etc. Play around with it. Make up 60ml of base and then set up 4 15ml bottles, add some fruits to each...
