Tootle Puffers, Part Three! (The Sequel of the Redux)

It is about all I use. It is a dripper that holds a lot of fluid and never leaks. After trying many, many set ups, I have stopped looking and settled on the Achilles. I have 1:1 clones that are unfortunately no longer available but I think they are worth the money even if you have to belly up...

My feeling has always been that if I still transfers odor then it could still transfer the flavor as well. They are so cheep that I see no sense in chancing it.

Few questions from a new DIY'er

^^^^ This. Don't just order random flavors or ones others suggested. Start with some recipes that sound good to you and order the flavors to make those recipes. As you go along you will find what flavors work for you and what general ones you want to stay away from. This will save you a lot...

    Mixing By Weight: Basics 101

I made a lot of changes from the picture in the first post that was old at the time. Took up the rug, took down the soft window treatments, got rid of the porous wooden shelf and in general made every thing washable and more at easier at hand :) I don't thing that there is such a thing as...

    Nicotine Comparisons

I'm pretty sure that if that mason jar contained uncut nicotine and you weren't wearing a resperator, you would be dead now. Since you were able to post this, I'm guessing that it is not 100% undiluted nicotine.

How do you prefer to mea sure your recipe?

Oh Eskie, of course there is a time and a place for different methods, especially in research or clinical situations where the weights are often unknown but, from what I have seen, weight based measurements are dominant in a PRODUCTION lab. We are not doing true chemistry here, we are doing...

How do you prefer to mea sure your recipe?

Yup, it is the way pro's do it isn't it. The way I did it in all my college classes as well. Same with my mother who was a life long lab tech. I hear the benign argument that milk isn't sold by the pound and I have to laugh because that is exactly how we sold it from the farm to the...

Using blender or juicer to mix juice

I have a frother, a paint mixer and a magnetic mixer, still the best thing is a glass rod. I scored a set of old school 1950's glass cocktail stirrers at a tag sale a while back and they work awesome as lab stir rods, plus they have cool tropical fish in glass on top of each one. :)
