    I used the XC4-116 and have the same taste as the SS wick. (the XC4 has a higher burn rate, but should not make much of a difference for our application.) Try dropping a few drips on top of the ceramic sleeve wick. Does this help with the taste? Like Dan said it sounds like a wicking problem...

    I will if someone can explain how to get my Lava Tank off without loosing mu juice, its just spinning...? Think I might need to add the bigger o-ring. I'll get some photo's up once I get this thing figured out. :) PS. Like I said, made a mess when filling, so maybe the juice is just acting...
