If you cut down the 306 sleeve, you have to cut it shorter than the 510 case to leave room for the drip tip to fit in the top. -

Or, you can easily mod an old 510 case. Cut off the top of the orange plastic cover that comes with the 306 to turn it into a tube. Put it back on the 306. Add a 510 body. Add a drip tip. Done :) -

Hey, Dave...you can get a 306 atty cover/drip tip adapter for a few bux from Avid Vaper that allows you to use a 306 with your tips. That's the way I roll, too. Gotta have my tips! -

Do you mind the io6 tip that they sell for it? I'm hearing folks are already taking a drill to it. Cracks me up. We just can't use anything as intended. Gotta start whacking and sawing everything we get. Lol. -

Actually, one of my 306 sleeve adapters was too loose on the 306...sorta like it stretched out. Maybe that would work! -

We really want to try them, but I'm a little hesitant because I want to use my drip tips. Maybe I will just do it, and mod a tube out somehow so I can use my tips. Whatcha think, Bogey? -

I think mine is a King Coil Pillow top. Have had it about 10 years. Still happy with it. Probably newer better tech/comfort available now. -
