I'm vaping my Patriot right now. Best build I have produced on it is this .99ohm dual coil build. This setup is even a bit overkill but really does the job. I'm going to experiment with vertical coils on it this weekend.

A towel should work.
You could also try this. I used it once. If you are just looking for a way to comfort the dog you just can't go wrong with lots of tiny treats on the way to the vet.

Cut a hole in the middle wide enough for...
No I think it's very doable. Looks like that person extended the opening by drilling out the space between the current display and fire button and squared it all off to fit the larger display in. So I'm guessing the fire button would then be relocated to the back of the mod by simply drilling a...
Nice, let me know how it goes. This is a pic from a higher ohm 1.7 dual coil with round Kanthal 30g, 11 wraps each side. Just trying to dial in the amount of wraps for both round and ribbon dual and single for future reference.
Just got some round 30g in and built a DC .9ohm on a Patriot. I have been comparing ribbon and round, medium and low ohm, single coils and dual. The duals definitely kick more vapor for sure, sometimes too much for some but I like it.
I noticed a higher VG liquid and lower nic is very required...

I don't know how well ribbon...
My 2 egos lasted me about 8 months of daily vaping in rotating each one each day. So I guess you could say 4 solid months of daily vaping each. One was a 1300 Spinner and the other a 900. The 1300 went first by about 2 weeks.
