    No problem. I'm surprised it would still leak after that. Just rotate the barrel from side to side once a day it will probably help with the leaking.

    Yes if you don't soak the barrel in water for 3 days it won't expand enough to keep it from leaking. How long did you let the barrel soak in water first? You don't have to rotate it. Just swish it around once a day or so. I have about 45ml of this juice left. PM me.

    I had a mech that didn't come with a vent hole so I drilled one through the bottom cap. You are definitely going to want to drill some kind of hole somewhere.

    If you are getting that fresh cut oak smell you should be good to go. It also might not be a bad thing getting some scotch notes into your juice. Let us know how it works out.
