    UD AGI RBA vs AGA-T2

The AGI needs to be modified (the hot spring) before you use it for low-ohm coil vaping. If you plan to use it with a non-mech mod, it's probably fine the way it is though. There also seems to be something about the top cap on the AGI that makes it prone to whistling. It isn't size dependent...

    Genesis Atty Question?

I own the AGA-T2 (got a 2nd one on the way to me in the mail), the RSST, as well as the AGI and the AGA-S v2. I agree with Kanj.nguyen - the AGA-T2(+) is my favorite one of the bunch. Yes, the wick hole isn't insulated like the RSST's is, and it is also kind of small compared with the RSST...

    AGI Spring Issue and Fix

Okay. We have Radio Shack here in the states, and they stock tons of parts similar to that, so shouldn't be too difficult to find. Thanks for the tip! I'm pretty sure the syringe needles are stainless steel though, so I'm thinking they should basically do the same thing. Anyone?

    AGI Spring Issue and Fix

Awesome - glad they work out for you. What exactly does the package the thingamagiggies came in say they are really called? lol

    Vamo Shutting Itself Off

Yeah, the two that I had that were made by KSD weren't the least bit attractive to say the least. lol Heck, I had to buy some metal repair stuff - kind of like JB Weld - to fix the joint at the mid-section of the Vamo, as it was very wobbly. I also had to replace the grommet in the 510...

    AGI Spring Issue and Fix

That's a good idea as well. I guess you had to wrap the wire around the pin at the base, or did you solder it there? I think copper is a better conductor of electricity than stainless steel, though tbh, I'm not sure of the specifics. I have some solid copper wire here, and while it would fit...

    AGI Spring Issue and Fix

I'm not sure if this has been posted elsewhere in the forums or not, but I want to make sure that folks know there IS a potential problem with the AGI when used in genesis mode. If you plan to use it as a dripper only, there's no need to even worry about the spring as it isn't even in use when...

So I get my new Sigelei #13 today

Hmmm... I just got a Sigelei #8, and I really like the look and feel. Very solid. I have sanded the post, the tip of the switch, and the positive screw to reveal the brass for better conductivity. I haven't actually checked it under load yet, but I have been reading that there is a problem...

    Vamo Shutting Itself Off

Thing is, if it was shutting off because of a loss of contact with the battery, it would not flash first. I am on my 3rd Vamo in 2 months. The first one had a problem with the left button not making contact with the PCB now and again. The second one though, it started giving me the same...

    UD AGI missing a hole?

I don't think there's anything wrong with your AGI. Mine is the same. There's really no reason to drill all the way through on the negative. The grommet is supposed to sit there with the lip above the base. Not sure that it really makes any difference, but I don't like those delrin grommets...

    Voltage, Amps, Watts, Etc...

Again, I apologize for all the consecutive posts. I didn't know that anyone had replied to my post, and had quite forgotten about it. I'm on it now! ;)

    Voltage, Amps, Watts, Etc...

Hmmm... how would a Vape Safe rob amps? Sure, it will kick in if it senses 6-7 amps or more for too long, but I checked it with my meter, and it doesn't even read as having any resistance. While I am certainly no expert in these things, it seems to me that the worst thing that anything between...

    Voltage, Amps, Watts, Etc...

I definitely enjoy low-voltage vaping versus the alternative. As for the batts, I got some good IMRs now. I wasn't in a big hurry because I primarily use my Vamo and Zmax, and to the poster above btw that mentioned the Zmax, the lowest my Zmax will fire is 1.3 ohms, the Vamo in comparison...

    Voltage, Amps, Watts, Etc...

It's a mechanical mod, not my Vamo or Zmax, though I am now using a borrowed spring from the Zmax. As for the NCR18650A/B batts, I'm nearly certain those are Lithium-Cobalt batts, neither IMR nor hybrid. I got a couple of CGR18650CH Pannys though that are definitely IMR, and are definitely...

    Voltage, Amps, Watts, Etc...

It's just a generic 18650 mod that I paid 20 bucks for. The spring is/was steel, but I swapped the spring from my extra Zmax end-cap which I believe is a hot-spring. What I know for sure about it is that it creates less resistance than the spring that came in the mod. Where is a good place to...

    Voltage, Amps, Watts, Etc...

I just got a multimeter to test things with. I took the spring from the mod in question out and tested it. Putting a lead on each end result in a 1.1 ohm reading. So, I took the spring from the extra end-cap of my Zmax and measured the resistance on it, and it gave a reading of 0.9 ohms. I...

    VAMO OHM Error FIX!

Awesome! Mine has been good for quite some time now - a heck of a lot longer than the original insulator lasted! lol Maybe we should send that link to the manufacturer in China so they can fix their quality control problem? ;)

    Kanthal A-1 .5mm x .1mm Ribbon Wire in Stock !

I'm sure I could figure this out using a bit of math, but does anyone have any input on how the various ribbon wire sizes .4-.6mmx.1mm compare to standard kathal sizes I am familiar with such as 28-32awg?
